  • Publication number: 20240044653
Abstract: A system for improving accuracy in land navigation with limited non-electronic manual tools is provided. The system comprises a computer and application that provides a starting point and a first plurality of destination points in a field environment with instructions to physically locate the first plurality in a first order. The application also receives a second plurality of points indicating locations identified as corresponding to the first plurality, the second plurality physically found in the field in the first order. The application also plots on an electronic map the starting point, the first plurality, and the second plurality. The application also analyzes, based on observation of the plotted starting point and pluralities, of variances from each of the first plurality of points to a corresponding each of the second plurality of points. The application also displays analysis output and the map in a manner promoting group instruction about the variances.

  • Patent number: 11578703
Abstract: A method of generating electricity from geothermal energy utilizing an in situ closed loop heat exchanger deep within the earth using a recirculating heat transfer fluid to power an in situ modular turbine and generator system within a vertical, large bore, deep, tunnel shaft. The shaft length and diameter are dependent on the shaft temperature and sustaining heat flux. The method further includes methods of deep shaft boring and excavating, liner placement and sealing, shaft transport systems, shaft Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, and operations and maintenance provisions. The method has few global location restrictions, maximizes thermal efficiency as to make power generation practical, has a small site surface footprint, does not interact with the environment, is sustainable, uses renewable energy, and is a zero release carbon and hazardous substance emitter.

  • Patent number: 9984780
Abstract: A method of decommissioning a nuclear reactor including a vessel defining an inner chamber and reactor internal components positioned within the inner chamber includes removing at least some of the internal components and repackaging at least some of the removed internal components in at least one of the first and second predefined sections of the vessel defining a cutting zone between the at least first and second predefined sections. The method further includes disposing the vessel in a container, and encapsulating the internal components in the vessel and encapsulating the vessel in the container to generate a package. A package including components from a decommissioned and dismantled nuclear reactor includes a vessel and a plurality of components encapsulated in the vessel.
