  • Patent number: 11027309
Abstract: One general aspect includes a liquid dispenser with a mount having a mount aperture. A liquid flow path assembly is removably secured to the mount and has an inlet configured to receive liquid, an outlet configured to dispense liquid and a passageway fluidly coupling the inlet to the outlet. A third aperture apart from the inlet and the outlet is fluidly coupled to the passageway and forming a valve guide. The liquid flow path assembly is disposed on the mount to align the third aperture with the mount aperture. An elongated valve has a valve stem guided by the valve guide and extends through the third aperture and the mount aperture. A latch assembly secures the liquid flow path assembly to the mount.

  • Publication number: 20200208223
Abstract: In various aspects and embodiments, the invention provides a method of determining breast cancer status of a subject, the method comprising determining a methylation state for each of a plurality of cytosine-guanine dinucleotide (CpG) sites in a sample obtained from the subject, calculating a cancer presence differential methylation level and an invasiveness differential methylation level based on the methylation states of the plurality of CpG sites, and comparing the cancer presence differential methylation level and the invasiveness differential methylation level to a predetermined cancer status reference level and a predetermined invasiveness reference level, wherein when the cancer presence differential methylation level deviates from the predetermined cancer status reference level, the presence of breast cancer is indicated in the subject, and when the invasiveness differential methylation level deviates from the predetermined invasiveness reference level, the presence of invasive breast cancer is indica

  • Patent number: 7941243
Abstract: A very high density storage system comprising a storage grid having a number of storage cells and individual cargo carriers where a cargo carrier is stored in a storage cell. The storage system uses a unique set of individually actuatable gear drives on both the top and bottom of each storage cell, but installed at 90 degrees to each other, to move the cargo carrier to a specific storage cell. Software controls and manages the location of each cargo carrier such that when a specific cargo carrier is desired, software instructions cause the cargo carriers to be shuffled within the storage grid until the desired cargo carrier is located at the desired position, such as an unloading position.

  • Publication number: 20090150238
Abstract: A system and method for the reversible leasing of anonymous user data in exchange for personalized content including targeted advertisements includes: (a) helping users gather and manage data representing their interests (404); (b) distilling this data to a condensed and anonymous form (434); (c) making it easy to review, edit, and add to this data; (d) providing a simple way for sites to ask for this data (414); (e) enabling users to grant reversible access to a site with one click (432); (f) providing sites with multiple ways to access and use this data once the user has granted access (424) and (g) motivating the user to keep their data accurate and up-to-date (403). In this manner, Internet users can lease data to web sites in a way that is convenient, secure, and under user control, respecting the user desire for transparency and privacy, and avoiding the complexity and trust issues experienced by both users and web sites when utilizing identity management systems.
