  • Patent number: 11653086
Abstract: One or more systems and/or methods for capturing an image are provided. In an example, an application interface (e.g., a weather application interface), within which the image is to be populated, may be identified. The application interface may be evaluated to identify display context (e.g., a temperature label, weather visual effect, a weather icon, etc.) of the application interface. A camera user interface, associated with a camera of a device, may be displayed to a user. The display context may be overlaid a real-time image capture preview provided by the camera user interface so that the user may preview how the image may appear when used as a background image for the application interface (e.g., how a scene of a park may appear when the temperature label, weather icon, etc. are displayed over the background image). The image may be captured through the camera user interface utilizing the camera.

  • Publication number: 20220417567
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content generating, searching, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data within or across platforms, which can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods automatically analyze a live streaming media file, and identify portions of the media that are highlights. The content classified as a highlight can be shared across social media platforms, and indexed for searching respective to attributes of the video content. The streaming and highlight media content is renderable in a novel, modified video player that enables variable playback speeds for how content is classified, and enables on-demand selections of specific content portions and adjustable rendering displays during streaming.

  • Patent number: 8122032
Abstract: A corpus contains digital text from multiple documents. A passage mining engine identifies similar passages in the documents and stores data describing the similarities. The passage mining engine groups similar passages into groups based on degree of similarity or other criteria. The passage mining engine ranks the similar passages found in the text corpus based on quality or other criteria. A user interface is presented that includes hypertext links associated with the similar passages that allow a user to navigate the documents.

  • Patent number: 4746131
Abstract: An apparatus for the internal chucking of a soft three-jaw chuck on lathes is provided to enable the three jaws to be positioned so that they can be bored out to a high precise chucking dimension. The apparatus includes two rotatable triangular clamping plates that are disposed in any preselected rotational position relative to each other. The plates each have an external configuration of an equilateral triangle and are adapted to be received in the soft three-jaw chuck in a desired angular position such that common positions of contact result from the jaws of the three-jaw chuck from the edges of the two clamping plates which are canted one relative to the other. The desired chucking dimension range is covered by the relative dimensions of the two clamping plates.
