  • Publication number: 20250086196
Abstract: A method of determining and displaying metadata that represents provenance of columns in a data store comprises receiving query data expressed in a human-readable language and describing one or more transformations of data tables of a distributed database system or columns of the data tables; parsing the query data to create a data structure for unresolved transforms in which the data tables are not matched with the columns; based in part upon table schema metadata describing the columns of the data tables, creating an additional data structure for resolved transforms, the additional data structure matching the data tables with the columns and specifying inputs and outputs of each transformation of the one or more transformations; based on information in the additional data structure, creating and causing display of a visual graph of the columns of the data tables and relationships between the columns, relating to the one or more transformations.

  • Patent number: 12243307
Abstract: Video and corresponding metadata is accessed. Events of interest within the video are identified based on the corresponding metadata, and best scenes are identified based on the identified events of interest. A video summary can be generated including one or more of the identified best scenes. The video summary can be generated using a video summary template with slots corresponding to video clips selected from among sets of candidate video clips. Best scenes can also be identified by receiving an indication of an event of interest within video from a user during the capture of the video. Metadata patterns representing activities identified within video clips can be identified within other videos, which can subsequently be associated with the identified activities.

  • Patent number: 11383853
Abstract: An electric propulsion unit (102) for an aircraft is shown. A fan (202) produces a pressured airflow (P) by raising the pressure of an incident airflow (I). An electric machine (201) is arranged to drive the fan and is located within a casing (204). A primary cooling circuit (205) is located within the casing, and includes the electric machine and a first pass of a fluid-fluid heat exchanger (208), thereby placing the electric machine and the fluid-fluid heat exchanger in thermal communication. A secondary cooling circuit includes a second pass of the fluid-fluid heat exchanger and an air-fluid heat exchanger (210) located within the pressurised airflow produced by the fan, thereby placing the fluid-fluid heat exchanger and the air-fluid heat exchanger in thermal communication.

  • Publication number: 20220151242
Abstract: The present invention provides a composition comprising a biologically pure culture of a Paenibacillus sp. strain or a cell-free preparation thereof comprising a fusaricidin and a tridecaptin; wherein the fusaricidin is produced with a fusaricidin synthetase gene of fusA encoded by a DNA sequence exhibiting at least 90.5% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 3; and the tridecaptin is produced with a nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) gene of triE encoded by a DNA sequence exhibiting at least 90.0% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 7. Also provided are methods of treating an agricultural plant to control a disease and methods of increasing the vigor and/or crop yield of an agricultural plant with the disclosed compositions.

  • Publication number: 20220116501
Abstract: A serverless Page Party (SPP) station is provided for page announcing and party line conferencing that is configured to implement mutual provisioning to allow all SPP stations within a system to mutually maintain their configurations in runtime, and multiple master station negotiation and master failover. Plural SPP stations are connected with Ethernet cable or WIFi to a network and therefore without need for expensive and cumbersome cabling and daisy-chain configuration among stations. SPP stations route packets between each other via multicast technology and without need for a IP-PBX or other server (e.g., a SIP server) for controlling inter-station connections. In Mutual Provisioning Mode, SPP stations operate using a system configuration obtained from other SPP stations already on the network using a command channel. System configuration is maintained by a SPP station designated as a master station. Plural SPP stations can negotiate among themselves to designate a new master station.

  • Patent number: 11282086
Abstract: Techniques for detecting counterfeit checks include using sensors to determine correspondence between items detected on a check using machine vision. Correspondence between different items on a received check is used to generate a check score, which is compared to a risk-based threshold to determine how a transaction involving the check should be handled.

  • Patent number: 10710493
Abstract: Apparatus for covering product containers loaded in a cargo container is disclosed. The apparatus includes an automated cord reel including a spool and a motor configured to drive the spool. The spool when activated reels in a cord attached to a cargo blanket to spread the cargo blanket over product containers in the cargo container in a smooth motion and/or relatively constant speed to prevent snagging on the product containers. The automated cord reel may be configured as a mobile unit with wheels. A brake system may be provided to prevent movement of the automated cord reel during operation. The automated cord reel may have a battery to provide electric power to the motor. A magnetic floor brake may be configured to hold a cart body in a selected position.
