  • Patent number: 6065531
Abstract: An improvement to an air-water heat exchanger having an exchanger unit and a blower that are located in a housing constructed of a shell surrounded by a hood that is connected to a cabinet wall where the cabinet wall and the floor of the shell include openings and the housing is divided by at least one separating wall into an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber that connect to the openings in the floor of the shell. The improvement involves a blower, having an air outlet, that is located in the inlet chamber of the heat exchanger in such a manner so as to draw air through an air suction opening in the floor of the shell, and then supply that air through an opening in the separating wall to the exchanger unit located in the outlet chamber where the air is cooled and then directed by a drip separator and a baffle plate toward the associated air outlet opening in the floor of the shell.

  • Patent number: 5857353
Abstract: The invention relates to a wall air conditioning apparatus for a control panel, with a fan and a lamellar heat exchanger, featuring a box-like housing with an upper inlet opening and a lower outlet opening in the wall that faces the control panel, whereby the fan is arranged behind the inlet opening and the lamellar heat exchanger is arranged under the fan and over the outlet opening at an acute angle to this wall. For improved ventilation and drainage of condensation water, it is provided that the lamellae of the lamellar heat exchanger are at an acute angle to the floor of the housing and drop off toward the wall that faces away from the control cabinet, and that the floor of the housing is provided with a drain for condensate.

  • Patent number: 5761797
Abstract: A process for the erection of a switch cabinet and installation of components therein in which portions of the framework of the switch cabinet are assembled to form a partial frame structure. Thereafter, the services are installed and wired within the partial frame structure. The assembly of the framework is then completed and the walls and doors secured thereto so as to form an enclosed switch cabinet with the services installed inside.

  • Patent number: 5749476
Abstract: A rack for a switching cabinet comprising a plurality of frame parts and having fastening holes provided inside of the frame pieces forming internal edges of the rack. The frame pieces form only a frame support. At least a portion of the frame pieces are rigidly or detachably connected to a plurality of mounting rails which extend over at least a portion of the length of a corresponding frame piece, and along with the two profile sides having rows of fastening holes, form portions of internal edges.

  • Patent number: 4966360
Abstract: A transport device for multiple layered web material consists of a transport roll and a pressure roll between which the web material passes. The pressure roll is in the form of a hollow prism mounted with play on a supporting shaft. The interior of the prism has rounded corners with a radius of curvature matching that of the shaft. During rotation of the pressure roll, the transport roll translates with the web material during some portions of its movement and rotates relative to the shaft during other portions of its movement.
