  • Patent number: 10490063
Abstract: A method for managing at least one network element device in a network using a network manager device and a wireless control device. The method may include associating at least one scene with at least one actuator of the wireless control device. The wireless control device may detect at least one actuation of the at least one actuator. Subsequent to the detection of the at least one actuation, the wireless control device may sense a movement of the wireless control device with an accelerometer in the wireless control device. The wireless control device may then send a communication regarding a character of the movement from the wireless control device to the network manager device. The network manager device may instruct the at least one network element device to implement the scene based at least in part on the character of the movement.

  • Patent number: 9693427
Abstract: A control system for use in a network. The control system includes an input device coupled to the network to generate an input signal. The control system also includes an RGBW controller having a plurality of input channels and a plurality of output channels, and is coupled to the network. The RGBW receives the input signal at the input channels, determines if the input signal meets a predetermined condition, and generates a series of independent output signals at the plurality of output channels in response to the input signal meeting a predetermined condition. The control system also includes one or more output devices to receive one or more of the independent output signals, and to perform one or more functions in response to receiving one or more of the independent output signals.

  • Patent number: 9646484
Abstract: Method and/or system for an intelligent smoke sensor may comprise a sensor system configured to detect at least one of a plurality of predefined conditions, a processor coupled to the sensor system. The processor may be configured to generate an alarm indication in response to having detected at least one predefined condition. The intelligent smoke sensor system may comprise a recorder coupled to the processor. The recorder may be configured to record the alarm indication and the detected predefined conditions. The intelligent smoke sensor may comprise communication circuitry that mat be configured to communicate the alarm indication and the detected predefined condition to the network.

  • Patent number: 9218732
Abstract: Methods and systems for an integrated flood and temperature sensor may comprise sensing a presence of water in a premises by measuring a resistance between at least one pair of metal probes in an integrated flood and temperature sensor, sensing a temperature utilizing one or more temperature sensors, and sensing an orientation of the integrated flood and temperature sensor with respect to gravity utilizing one or more level sensors. The metal probes may be extendable. The metal probes may be gold plated. A tamper sensor may sense whether an enclosure for the integrated flood and temperature sensor has been tampered with. The presence of water may be sensed utilizing a remote probe. The integrated water and temperature sensor may communicate wirelessly with one or more external devices utilizing a wireless transceiver.
