A user device may be connected to a Bluetooth mesh network, connecting the user device to a number of Bluetooth enabled devices such that when the transaction card is outside of a specified distance of the mesh network, the user device may receive an alert. When a user receives an alert that the card is outside of a specified distance from the user device, the user device may be used to relay to the user whether the user is moving in a direction closer or farther from the card.
