Abstract: Described here are devices, systems and methods for forming a fistula between two blood vessels. Generally, the systems may comprise a first catheter which may comprise a fistula-forming element. The fistula-forming element may comprise one or more electrodes, mechanical cutting elements, laser sources, or combinations thereof, and may be used to assist in fistula formation. In some instances, a system may comprise a second catheter, which may comprise a fistula-forming element. One or more of the catheters may comprise one or more markers, magnetic alignment elements, and/or one shape-changing elements.

Abstract: Location mapping and navigation user interfaces may be generated and presented via mobile computing devices. A mobile device may detect its location and orientation using internal systems, and may capture image data using a device camera. The mobile device also may retrieve map information from a map server corresponding to the current location of the device. Using the image data captured at the device, the current location data, and the corresponding local map information, the mobile device may determine or update a current orientation reading for the device. Location errors and updated location data also may be determined for the device, and a map user interface may be generated and displayed on the mobile device using the updated device orientation and/or location data.

Abstract: A fluid bed reactor system and process employing a silyl chromate catalyst therein wherein the reactor system comprises a vertical reactor having a fluidizing medium permeable distribution plate towards the base thereof, a fluidizing medium supply line to supply fluidizing medium to the base of the reactor, a catalyst injection means to supply particulate catalyst to the side of the reactor, a polymer product recovery means to recover polymer product from the reactor and beneath the distribution plate, a fluidizing medium recycle line to recycle the fluidizing medium from and to the reactor, and a heat exchanger in the recycle line to remove heat of reaction from the recycled fluidizing medium.
