Abstract: The present disclosure provides various user interfaces and techniques for enrolling a biometric feature of a user. In some embodiments, a biometric feature is enrolled using an enrollment interface that includes a progress indicator. In some embodiments, a biometric feature is enrolled using an enrollment interface that includes a cropped video feed. In some embodiments, a biometric feature is enrolled using an enrollment interface that includes a plurality of layers that provide alignment information. In some embodiments, an enrollment interface outputs feedback to correct errors based on a priority of the errors.

Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods for designating a bounded volumetric region in which an application can display content. In some implementations, a device includes a display, one or more processors, and a memory. While displaying first content associated with a first application within a first bounded region, the device detects a request from a second application to display second content in a second bounded region. If the first application has a first characteristic, the device determines whether the second bounded region obstructs a field of view of the first bounded region from the device. If the second bounded region obstructs the field of view of the first bounded region, the device determines whether to deny the request to display the second content in the second bounded region.

Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that facilitate the use of application content such as text, images, video, and 3D models in XR environments. In some implementations, a first device (e.g., an HMD) provides an indicator corresponding to a content item currently/recently used on a second device (e.g., a mobile phone), where the indicator is positioned based on a position of that second device. A user may visit a website on their mobile phone and, while using their HMD, see a view having a depiction of their mobile phone with a nearby indicator (e.g., an affordance) for accessing that same website on the HMD. The affordance may be positioned based on (e.g., next to) the mobile phone such that its positioning provides an intuitive user experience or otherwise facilitates easy understanding of the use of content item on the other device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses which create and use selective history data structures are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method includes monitoring presentations accessed by a user, automatically selecting some of the presentations accessed by the user according to, at least in part, the user's access patterns, and displaying representations of the some of the presentations in a pattern of an n×n array, wherein n is greater than 1. Other methods are disclosed, and various apparatuses and machine readable media are also disclosed.
