Abstract: A fixing clip for mounting a furring channel onto a support structure. A connection portion is used to attach the fixing clip to a furring channel and has a connection arrangement which defines a furring channel receiving gap therein through which the furring channel passes in fixing clip use. The connection arrangement is moveable between at least two different positions relative to a base portion to position the connection arrangement at different distances from the base portion and extending across the furring channel receiving gap. A locking arrangement extends between the base portion and the connection portion and is used to secure the connection arrangement of the connection portion at a selected position relative to the base portion.
