  • Patent number: 10592922
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying fraudulent Internet traffic are provided. A tracking script is provided that generates a unique URL encoding an IP address of a client device. In order to find an IP address associated with the unique URL, a request for the IP address associated with the unique URL is received at a DNS resolver server from a DNS server upstream from the client device. The IP address of the client device, the DNS server upstream from the client device and the DNS resolver server in a database are correlated to obtain information about the Internet traffic to determine the likelihood that the traffic is fraudulently generated.

  • Patent number: 10552838
Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating trustworthiness for an online transaction are provided. The methods may include providing a detection script to a user device alongside content requested by the user device. The detection script is executable on a web browser or web-based application of the user device and configured to cause the user device to send feedback from at least one sensor on the user device that is accessible by the web browser or web-based application. The system receives the feedback from the user device at a server and evaluates the feedback from the at least one sensor on the user device. The script further allows the server to obtain location information for the user device. The server calculates a trustworthiness factor for the user device based on the obtained feedback and location for the user device.

  • Publication number: 20090327298
Abstract: A multimedia journal system comprising one or more journal servers and one or more client devices allows users to create an electronic journal. Journals may be redundantly stored in multiple locations so as to protect the journals from damage or destruction. The system also allows control of access to a journal or the parts thereof, and will allow a journal's owner to designate family members, friends, or others access to the journal in the event the owner passes away. Entries may be sealed to prevent or identify subsequent modifications or tampering. A sealed questionnaire is also provided, which users may answer periodically to track changes in their thoughts, feelings, or ideology. The system may be accessible via the World Wide Web.
