Abstract: The disclosed technology provides techniques, systems, and apparatus for containing and recovering from uncorrectable memory errors in distributed computing environment through migration of virtual machines and associated memory to a target host machine. An aspect of the disclosed technology includes a hypervisor or virtual machine manager that receives signaling of an uncorrectable memory error detected by a host machine. The virtual machine manager then uses information received via the signaling to identify virtual memory addresses or memory pages associated with the corrupted memory element so as to allow for containment and recovery from the error, and for live migration of the virtual machine.

Abstract: The sprinkler stand which supports a sprinkler satisfactorily on nonlevel ground comprises a swingable mount carrying the sprinkler pivotally mounted in the sprinkler stand. The sprinkler is connected with a flexible water feed hose. The swingable mount is equipped with a downwardly pointing balancing device provided with variable weights which acts to orient the sprinkler by the force of gravity.

Abstract: An irrigating apparatus whose hose drum is propelled by water power to take up the hose. A hose guide is movable back and forth across the drum to deposit the hose in layers thereon and the hose guide is coupled to a threaded spindle on which a nut rides. A link connects this nut to a valve which throttles the flow to the water-power motor for the drum to progressively decrease the angular velocity of the drum as the hose is taken up.
