  • Patent number: 11253958
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a heat exchanger array that includes stacking a plurality of heat exchanger units in an aligned configuration with respective first ports of the plurality of heat exchanger units aligned. The method can further include generating heat in the first coupling elements at the same time and at a temperature sufficient to generate a first plurality of respective couplings between adjacent sheets of adjacent heat exchanger units about adjacent first ports and without a coupling being generated between the first and second sheets of a given heat exchanger unit.

  • Patent number: 11173575
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a heat exchanger array that includes stacking a plurality of heat exchanger units in an aligned configuration with respective first ports of the heat exchanger units aligned. The heat exchanger units can include a first and second sheet coupled together to define an cavity between the first and second sheets; the first port at a first end of the heat exchanger unit defined by the first and second sheets; and a second port at a second end of the heat exchanger unit defined by the first and second sheets. The method further includes stacking the plurality of heat exchanger units in an aligned configuration with the first ports of the plurality of heat exchanger units aligned and generating a first plurality of respective couplings between adjacent sheets of adjacent heat exchanger units about adjacent first ports. The coupling can be generated by an adhesive.

  • Patent number: 11168950
Abstract: A method of making and operating a heat exchanger that includes introducing a first fluid into a fluid chamber of a membrane heat exchanger to change the membrane heat exchanger from a flat configuration to a non-flat configuration while the membrane heat exchanger is disposed within a chamber with the membrane heat exchanger extending from a first end to a second end of the chamber and generating a fluid flow of the first fluid within the fluid chamber of the membrane heat exchanger between first and second ends of the membrane heat exchanger, the first fluid generating heat exchange with a second fluid disposed within the chamber. The membrane heat exchanger includes sheets that form a fluid chamber.

  • Patent number: 11054194
Abstract: A collapsible heat exchanger comprising a first sheet; a second sheet on an opposing side of the collapsible heat exchanger from the first sheet; a first expansion element coupled to and extending between the first and second sheets; a second expansion element coupled to and extending between the first and second sheets; a manifold including a plurality of channels defined by at least one of a plurality of internal sidewalls; and a heat exchanger cavity defined at least by the plurality of channels and a first and second fluid conduit.

  • Patent number: 10705977
Abstract: Examples may include techniques to improve cache performance in a computing system. An eviction service may be used to manage a dirty list and a clean list, set a cache line to hot, set a cache line to clean, set a cache line to dirty, and evict a cache line from the cache. A cache engine may be used to write data into the cache at a cache line, request the eviction service to set the cache line to dirty, and manage a dirty cache lines counter for each chunk of the primary memory. A cleaning thread may be used to determine a dirtiest chunk of a primary memory, get a cache line of the dirtiest chunk, and when the cache line of the dirtiest chunk is dirty, read the cache line to get data from the cache, write the data to primary memory, request the eviction service to set the cache line to clean, and manage the dirty cache lines counters.
