  • Patent number: 11626688
Abstract: A strain relief system for a cable inserted within has a main housing with an opening and a series of ramp features and a series of serrations on an interior surface. The system also has a rotating collar with an opening in line with the opening of the main housing. The rotating collar having a series of follower features configured to be inserted into the opening of the main housing such that when the rotating collar is rotated relative to the main housing, the follower features engage the ramp features to compress the cable inserted with the strain relief system. The rotating collar also having at least one ratcheting tab configured to engage the series of serrations of the main housing such has to provide a ratcheting function between the rotating collar and the outer housing.

  • Patent number: 11509095
Abstract: A cassette assembly includes a housing for plugs having release latches, the housing including a support surface and first hinge feature. The assembly also includes a compression lever including a post and a second hinge feature configured to cooperate with the first hinge feature to form a hinge. The assembly also includes a latch depressor including first and second ends, the latch depressor having a channel configured to receive the post. In response to a force applied to the compression lever with the first and second hinge features in cooperation, the channel in receipt of the post, and a plug in the housing, the compression lever rotates about the hinge, the post translates the force to the channel, the first end of the latch depressor abuts and pivots at the support surface, and the second end of the latch depressor contacts the release latch of the plug in the housing.

  • Patent number: 11228132
Abstract: A communications connector has a middle barrel, top sled, and bottom sled. The top sled has a top wire opening and a top insulation displacement contact (IDC) hole with the top IDC hole providing access to a wire inserted into the top wire opening. The top sled has a top IDC channel containing a top IDC. The bottom sled has a bottom wire opening and a bottom IDC hole with the bottom IDC hole providing access to a wire inserted into the bottom wire opening. The bottom sled also has a bottom IDC channel with a bottom IDC. The top and bottom sleds are can be fitted together and inserted into the middle barrel with the top IDC engaging a wire inserted into the bottom wire opening through the bottom IDC hole and the bottom IDC engaging a wire inserted into the top wire opening through the top IDC hole.
