  • Patent number: 12268124
Abstract: An adjustment assembly for adjusting a position of one of a pair of steering levers of a riding lawn care vehicle that has first and second drive wheels may include a sleeve, a base portion and a rotatable adjuster. The steering levers may be operably coupled to respective ones of the first and second drive wheels to selectively control the riding lawn care vehicle based on drive speed control of the first and second drive wheels responsive to positioning of the steering levers along forward and rearward directions. The sleeve may be operably coupled to one of the steering levers and the base portion may be operably coupled to the sleeve via a pivot coupling. The pivot coupling is configured to reposition the sleeve relative to the base portion along the forward and rearward directions responsive to operation of the rotatable adjuster to define non-discrete fixing relationships between the sleeve and the base portion along the forward and rearward directions.

  • Publication number: 20240415061
Abstract: A riding lawn care vehicle (10) may include a frame (60, 130) to which wheels (31, 32) of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) may be attachable, a seat (20, 110, 310) which an operator of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) may utilize when operating the riding lawn care vehicle (10), a seat mounting structure (120, 320) to which the seat (20, 110, 310) may be mounted, an isolation assembly (140, 340) which may provide vibration isolation between the frame (60, 130) and the seat mounting structure (120, 320), and a hinge assembly (150, 350) which may enable the seat (20, 110, 310) to pivot via the seat mounting structure (120, 320). The isolation assembly (140, 340) may include a motion ratio adjustment assembly (160, 360) which may define a motion ratio of the isolation assembly (140, 340) independent of an amount of pre-loaded compression.

  • Publication number: 20230256876
Abstract: A riding lawn care vehicle may include a frame to which wheels of the riding lawn care vehicle are attachable, a seat from which an operator of the riding lawn care vehicle is enabled to access steering controls for the riding lawn care vehicle, a seat mounting structure to which the seat is mounted, an isolation assembly providing vibration isolation between the frame and the seat mounting structure, and a hinge assembly configured to enable the seat to be pivoted via the seat mounting structure from an operating position to a pivoted position in which an area under the seat is exposed or accessible. The hinge assembly and at least a portion of the isolation assembly may be integrated to isolate the seat from vibrations at the frame.

  • Patent number: 11554759
Abstract: A riding lawn care vehicle (10) may include a frame (60), a steering assembly (30), a brake assembly (110), and a mechanical brake linkage assembly (120). At least a first drive wheel (32) and a second drive wheel (32) of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) may be attachable to the frame (60). The steering assembly (30) may include a first steering lever (34) and a second steering lever (34), where the first and second steering levers (34) are operably coupled to the first and second drive wheels (32) respectively to facilitate turning of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) based on drive speed control of the first and second drive wheels (32) responsive to positioning of the first and second steering levers (34) along a first direction when the first and second steering levers are in an operating position. The brake assembly may be operably coupled to the first and second drive wheels (32) to enable brakes to be selectively applied to the first and second drive wheels (32).
