Abstract: An aircraft can include a stacked propeller to generate lift during assent and descent. The stacked propeller includes a first propeller and a second propeller that co-rotate about an axis of rotation. In one embodiment, the blades are coupled to a rotor mast that contains an internal cavity. In one mode of operation, the first propeller and/or the second propeller can be stored in the internal cavity in order to reduce drag during flight. The aircraft can include one or more stacked propellers, such as a port propeller and a starboard propeller, which rotate in opposite directions during one or more modes of flight.

The delivery management system may receive, from the user computing device, a first order indicating the first item. The delivery management system may send a second order for the first item to the second preparation site, where the second order indicates delivery to the virtual preparation site. The delivery management system may request a vehicle to deliver the first item to the virtual preparation site.

Abstract: A vertical landing and take-off aircraft VTOL transitions from a vertical takeoff state to a cruise state where the vertical takeoff state uses propellers to generate lift and the cruise state uses wings to generate lift. The aircraft has an M-wing configuration with propellers located on the wingtip nacelles, wing booms, and tail boom. The wing boom and/or the tail boom can include boom control effectors. Hinged control surfaces on the wings, tail boom, and tail tilt during takeoff and landing to yaw the vehicle. The boom control effectors, cruise propellers, stacked propellers, and control surfaces can have different positions during different modes of operation in order to control aircraft movement and mitigate noise generated by the aircraft.

Abstract: A method for forming polyurethane foams in a molding apparatus includes a step of directing one or more polyol compositions into a mold. Each of the one or more polyol compositions include a polyol, water, and a catalyst. The method also includes a step of directing an isocyanate composition into the mold to form a foamed polyurethane. The isocyanate composition includes one or more isocyanates. The one or more polyol compositions and the isocyanate composition is combined into a reaction composition. Characteristically, water concentration is in a range from 1.5 to 2 percent of the weight of the total reaction composition and the amount of isocyanate in the reaction composition is in a sufficient amount such that the isocyanate index is from about 83 to 98. A molded component made by the method is also provided.

Abstract: Example embodiments are directed to providing periodic vertiport usage and capacity data exchange, A cloud service system generates, based on historical data, a flight operation set that comprises a simulation of flight operations for time buckets in the future, where the simulation of flight operations include transportation services between vertiports. The system then receives, within a predetermined time period of the time buckets, real-time data including weather forecasts and actual demand for transportation services. The real-time data is analyzed to determine any deviations from the flight operation set for the time buckets. The system then presents the flight operation set including any deviations. Additionally, the system receives, after the time buckets has passed, real-time data indicating actual flight operations, compares the real-time data to the flight operation set to identify deltas, and provides the deltas as feedback to refine the generating of future flight operation sets.

This data is revision controlled and presented to the user in a unified table format for ease of correlation. The received data also can be modified or otherwise changed and written back to the disparate sources from which the data was obtained.
