  • Patent number: 8074326
Abstract: A strap assembly comprises an attachment member structure includes a main body and a plurality of attachment members. A first end portion of the main body is pivotable with respect to a second end portion thereof. Attachment members are connected to the main body at its opposing ends. A clasping device attached to the main body is engagable with one of the attachment members when a control portion of the clasping device is in a first position and selectively disengagable therefrom when a control portion of the clasping device is sufficiently displaced. A control structure is attached to the control portion of the clasping device such that sufficient displacement of the control structure with respect to the clasping device causes sufficient displacement of the control portion. A storage structure integral with the main body includes a passage configured for receiving at least a portion of the control structure therein.

  • Patent number: 7891321
Abstract: An animal muzzle has a retention strap, an interlock member attached to a first end portion of the retention strap, and a muzzle body attached to a second end portion of the retention strap. The muzzle body includes two longitudinally extending edge portions and an interlock structure adjacent each of the edge portions. The interlock structures are configured for having the interlock member simultaneously engaged therewith. The interlock structures are longitudinally offset from each other such that they are longitudinally adjacent to each other in a manner allowing the interlock member to be slideable engaged therewith when the muzzle body is in a snout-encompassing configuration. The muzzle body is maintained in the snout-encompassing configuration when the interlock member is engaged with the interlock structures. The muzzle body automatically transitions to a non-constraining configuration when the interlock member is disengaged from the interlock structures.

  • Publication number: 20070119385
Abstract: At least one embodiment of the inventive technology is an animal lead that can be released from an attached animal (e.g., a dog) upon pulling a trigger loop near a hand loop. Certain embodiments may provide a mechanically advantaged release that enables facile, perhaps even one fingered release of, e.g., a strong, pulling dog.

  • Publication number: 20060012199
Abstract: Cable ties having a handle for transporting articles secured by the cable tie are described. A typical cable tie may include a shackle and a shackle lock, wherein the shackle is inserted into the shackle lock where it may be engaged thereby and held fixed reversibly or releasably, thereby holding an article encircled by the shackle. The plane of the handle can be perpendicular or parallel to the plane formed by the shackle when engaged by the shackle lock, or somewhere in between, depending on the desired use; a swivel may be employed to provide an infinite variation of angles. Handles can be formed in many shapes, and may have finger indentations for ease of carrying, and means for attaching the handle are varied. Identification flags can be formed onto the handles or elsewhere on a cable tie for providing a location to identify the user, the article, etc.
