  • Patent number: 11623050
Abstract: A drive-control system for an injection device for delivering settable doses of a pharmaceutical substance contained in a cartridge, including a tubular housing body having a longitudinal axis, a proximal end and a distal end connectable to the cartridge enclosure, a helical spring contained in the housing body and a piston rod moveable towards the distal end and blocked in translation towards the proximal end. The housing body includes a control sleeve on which the spring is mounted, which rotatable around the axis, and a setting sleeve translatable along the axis. Rotation of the control sleeve in a first direction combined with compression of the spring causes the setting sleeve to be translated towards the proximal end of the housing body, and extension of the spring causes the setting sleeve to be translated towards the distal end of the housing body and the control sleeve to be rotated in a second direction and the piston rod to be pushed towards the outside of the housing body.

  • Patent number: 11596743
Abstract: A clutch assembly with a blocking system for a medical injection device, in which a first ratchet sleeve (3) is mounted on the clutch sleeve (2), the first ratchet sleeve (3) being rotatable in two directions and cooperating with a second ratchet sleeve (4) which is mounted on the first ratchet sleeve (3), the second ratchet sleeve (4) being rotatable only in one direction, the housing (1) has an internal toothed ring (1.1), the first ratchet sleeve (3) has at least one ratchet (3.1), and the second ratchet sleeve (4) has an internal toothed ring (4.1) and at least one ratchet (4.2). The second ratchet sleeve (4) and the housing (1) have blocking means (4.3, 1.2) for preventing the arming of the device when an insufficient volume of the medicament remains in the container, by blocking the rotation of the second ratchet sleeve (4) in relation to the housing (1).

  • Publication number: 20210307913
Abstract: An injection device for delivering equal doses of a fluid contained in a reservoir, the device having a housing, and an arming mechanism and a dose delivery mechanism arranged therein, the housing coupled to an enclosure for the reservoir. The arming mechanism includes an axially non-displaceable and rotatable setting sleeve. The setting sleeve is coupled with a spring strained by the rotation of the setting sleeve during arming of the device. The dose delivery mechanism includes a screw ring and a nonrotatable and axially displaceable piston rod within the setting sleeve. The piston rod cooperates with the screw ring so that during arming, the screw ring and the piston rod are immobilized, and during delivery of each dose the piston rod is displaced along the housing due to unwinding of the spring and rotation of the screw ring, the displacement of the piston rod causing the fluid to be discharged from the reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20190113220
Abstract: Improvements in a light with a speaker for home or business installation. The lighting fixture houses the audio receiver/audio amplifier for the speaker, the lighting element and control driver for the lighting element. Keeping all of these elements in the same fixture creates a single package for installation. The light emitting diode (LED) has a heatsink that conducts heat from the LED to an area at the top of the fixture. Diverting the heat away from the LED moves the heat away from the speakers and also opens the lower area of the fixture for better acoustics. The heatsink passes through a large diameter woofer that moves air for cooling of the heatsink and the LED lighting. The audio receiver/audio amplifier for the speaker can obtain an audio signal from a wired or wireless connection. A microphone can also be included for two-way communication.

  • Publication number: 20190099556
Abstract: An injection device includes a housing with an inspection window and at least two springs. One of the at least two springs is a driving helical spring. A spring block is connected to the housing and secured against rotation relative to the housing. A coupling tube extends above the spring block and above the housing. The injection device includes a plunger at least partially surrounded by the coupling tube. The driving helical spring is connected to the spring block. The coupling tube is at least partially surrounded by the driving helical spring. At least a portion of the proximal end of the plunger is narrower than a first internal diameter of the coupling tube and wider than a second internal diameter of the coupling tube. The rotatable dose knob, the spring block, the coupling tube, the plunger, and the driving helical spring are arranged coaxially.
