  • Publication number: 20080237009
Abstract: A switch assembly includes a circuit board having at least one circuit and a switch mechanism supported by the circuit board. The switch mechanism is operated to close the circuit. A housing sealingly surrounds the circuit board and the switch mechanism. Optionally, the housing may be overmolded around the circuit board and the switch mechanism. The housing may be configured to be mounted to an exterior portion of a vehicle such that the switch mechanism may be operated by an operated from the exterior of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7203070
Abstract: An electronic module includes an insulative housing and at least one circuit board contained within the housing. A plurality of connectors are coupled to the circuit board, and at least some of the connectors accessible through a surface of the housing. At least one fuse is electrically connected to the circuit board, and an insulative fuse door is sealingly engaged to the housing and positionable with respect to the housing to provide access to the fuse from an exterior of the housing.

  • Patent number: 7126063
Abstract: An electronic package includes a circuit board and a capsule layer encasing the circuit board and forming an immersible electronic module. A housing receives the electronic module and forms a protective shell around the electronic module.

  • Patent number: 6450829
Abstract: A coaxial connector assembly includes a plug connector 2 and a mating jack connector 102. The plug connector 2 is a snap-on or quick connect and quick disconnect style connector. The plug connector 2 includes a shell 10 that can be terminated to a coaxial cable outer shield or braid 114. The shell 10 has deflectable spring fingers 12 formed at its mating end with a radially extending lip 16. A collar 30 surrounds the shell 10. The collar 30 is formed by a two housing components 32 that are preferably identical and can be mated together in surrounding relationship to the shield. Spring beams 34, 34A or elastomeric members 34B engage the peripheral lip to urge the collar 30 and the shell 10 toward a neutral position, even though the collar 30 and the shell 10 are relatively axially shiftable to facilitate mating and unmating.

  • Publication number: 20020090856
Abstract: A coaxial cable assembly 2 consists of a plug coaxial connector subassembly 4 and a jack coaxial connector subassembly 6. A plug connector 10 and a jack connector 50 are respectively mounted in molded plug and jack housings 20 and 60 respectively. The plug and jack housings 20 and 60 include a latching beam 66 that is attachable to a raised bum 26 on the other connector. The maximum force for disengaging the two subassemblies is greater than the engagement force because the bump includes a sloping forward surface 36 and a steep rear surface 38. When used with connectors 10 and 50 that have equal mating and unmating forces, the total unmating force exceeds the mating force. The latches and the connectors are also positioned so that maximum mating forces of the two separate latching systems do not overlap, thus keeping the total mating force within acceptable limits.

  • Patent number: 4819477
Abstract: A disposable plastic cartridge contains three fine lightweight wire mesh collectors, each of phosphor bronze. One collector has an oxidized surface for collecting drug particulates. The other two have surfaces electroplated with zinc to form a rough multi-fissured surface for trapping low volatility vapors. In use, a portion of a warm sample air stream is chilled and passed through the collectors in parallel for sample collection. Simultaneously part of the sample air stream by-passes the chiller and is fed directly into a mass analyzer for real time analysis. Next, both collection and real time analysis are terminated, and each collector is desorbed in sequence with a pulse of hot air which flows into the mass analyzer for sequential analysis.
