  • Patent number: 10880474
Abstract: Various systems and processes may achieve mobile imaging. In particular implementations, systems and processes for mobile imaging may include the ability to capture video data with a number of video cameras mounted on a vehicle, determine positioning information as the cameras capture video data, and place audio marks in the video data of each camera. Each camera may be positioned to obtain a different view relative to the vehicle and adapted to capture video data as the vehicle travels. The positioning information may, for example, be derived from a global positioning system transceiver. The audio marks may be generated a number of times as the vehicle travels, and the time for each activation logged. The captured video data from each camera may be synchronized based on the audio marks and then combined to generate a 360 degree video, as well as related images, which may be correlated with map locations.
