Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to flexible control of devices installed on a vehicle. A controller may be configured to control a plurality of devices (e.g., original equipment manufacturer (OEM) devices and/or aftermarket devices) based on input via one or more OEM-installed switches. The controller may be configured to receive input from the one or more switches and control, based on a currently activated functionality of the controller, either a first device (e.g., an OEM device associated with the one or more switches) or a second device (e.g., an after-market device). Activation and/or deactivation of a functionality of the controller to control a specific device (e.g., an OEM device or an after-market device) may be based on a predetermined sequence as input via the one or more switches.

Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to side-view mirror assemblies in vehicles and associated mirror controllers. A side-view mirror assembly may be configured with mirror tilt, power extend/retract, and power fold/unfold functionalities that may be electronically controllable via a mirror controller. The mirror controller may be interfaced with a tilt control switch and the side-view mirror assembly. The mirror controller may be configured to receive commands, via the mirror tilt control switch, and activate and/or deactivate the power extend/retract and power fold/unfold functionalities. Based on activation of the power extend/retract and power fold/unfold functionalities, the mirror tilt control switch may be used to cause extension, retraction, folding, and/or unfolding of a side-view mirror.

Abstract: A method is provided that includes prompting a consumer to input an authentication credential in a network application to access an account in a server, the network application operating in a client device. The method also includes validating the authentication credential in a database and providing, for display by the network application in the client device, a personalized consumer item, the personalized consumer item associated with the account in the server. The method also includes receiving, from the network application in the client device, a print request from the consumer for a selected portion of the personalized consumer item and transmitting a print command to a printer for printing the selected portion of the personalized consumer item. A system to perform the above method is also provided.

Abstract: A method for generating specialized tokens for a bundled asset that includes a plurality of assets can include the step of a user inputting data defining a bundled portfolio including one or more of a trading symbol, a token name and an initial supply into a host database of a host system to establish a smart contract token. The plurality of assets within the bundled asset can be tokenized and verified by utilizing a blockchain. A host system for generating specialized tokens for a bundled asset including a plurality of assets can include one or more of a host processor, a host database, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising code, executable by the host processor. The host system can be configured to track the bundled portfolio with a smart contract.

Abstract: A label device attachable to a structure includes a first material suitable for marking with indicia. The first material includes at least one fold to produce a first tab like structure at an angle from a plane. The first material is sufficiently flexible such that the angle can be easily changed. A second material, suitable for marking with indicia, is of similar dimensions and flexibility to the first material. The second material includes at least one fold to produce a second tab like structure at the angle. The first and second tabs are fixedly attached to one another. A base material is adhesively attached to the first and second materials along the plane to form a base for the device where the base may be attached to the structure and by changing the angle, sides of the first and second tabs can be accessed for marking with indicia.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting optical defects on a surface of a transparent or semi-transparent structure, tube or article is provided. Defects are identified and analyzed by using a digital camera to capture an image of a target having a pattern of light and dark areas through a portion of the article. The images are processed to enhance the visibility of the defects, and the distribution of the defects as function of their location on the surface of the article is determined. This determination is used as part of a statistical process control method for controlling the level of defects present on the surface of the article.
