Publication number: 20240132025Abstract: Revving an engine may be helpful in various contexts, such as when servicing the vehicle. For example, in some types of services, a cleaning agent may be introduced into the intake and surrounding regions of an engine, and the engine may be revved to reduce a likelihood that the cleaning agent might puddle. In some instances, a device can be positioned within a vehicle interior and can be used to automatically rev the vehicle engine by depressing on the vehicle throttle.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 22, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Michael Jason ERWIN, Bradley Robert YOUNG, Stephen Marvin Pederson, Zachary Adam DOLD

Publication number: 20240113220Abstract: Technologies for a transistor with a thin-film ferroelectric gate dielectric are disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, a transistor has a thin layer of scandium aluminum nitride (ScxAl1-xN) ferroelectric gate dielectric. The channel of the transistor may be, e.g., gallium nitride or molybdenum disulfide. In one embodiment, the ferroelectric polarization changes when voltage is applied and removed from a gate electrode, facilitating switching of the transistor at a lower applied voltage. In another embodiment, the ferroelectric polarization of a gate dielectric of a transistor changes when the voltage is past a positive threshold value or a negative threshold value. Such a transistor can be used as a one-transistor memory cell.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: Intel CorporationInventors: Arnab Sen Gupta, Ian Alexander Young, Dmitri Evgenievich Nikonov, Marko Radosavljevic, Matthew V. Publication number: 20240113212Abstract: Technologies for a field effect transistor (FET) with a ferroelectric gate dielectric are disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, a perovskite stack is grown on a buffer layer as part of manufacturing a transistor. The perovskite stack includes one or more doped semiconductor layers alternating with other lattice-matched layers, such as undoped semiconductor layers. Growing the doped semiconductor layers on lattice-matched layers can improve the quality of the doped semiconductor layers. The lattice-matched layers can be preferentially etched away, leaving the doped semiconductor layers as fins for a ribbon FET. In another embodiment, an interlayer can be deposited on top of a semiconductor layer, and a ferroelectric layer can be deposited on the interlayer. The interlayer can bridge a gap in lattice parameters between the semiconductor layer and the ferroelectric layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: Intel CorporationInventors: Ian Alexander Young, Dmitri Evgenievich Nikonov, Marko Radosavljevic, Matthew V. Patent number: 11914853Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for configuring automatic playback settings on a media playback device. A graphical user interface displays automatic playback settings and receives selections of customized settings for automatic playback. The settings can include context granularity for automatic playback, limiting autoplay to when the media playback device is connected to a wireless network, and activating an audible notification when automatic playback of media content is beginning. An initial queue of media content is selected for playback on the media playback device. The system ascertains whether autoplay is enabled for a particular situation. If autoplay is enabled, the system automatically generates a queue of media that is related to the initial queue and initiates playback on the media playback device after the initial queue concludes.Type: GrantFiled: January 15, 2021Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: Spotify ABInventors: Adam Chase, Andrew Greene, Christopher Barthle, Eric Lundin, Jeffrey Paul Baxter, Kevin Sweeney, Mark Kizelshteyn, Matthew Young-Wook Lim, Michelle Ackerman, Thomas Gayno, Kylan McBride, Joseph Levin
