  • Publication number: 20230136171
Abstract: A device for brewing coffee and other infused beverages according to the French press method, which provides the ability to stir the coffee grounds during brewing and remove the spent coffee grounds from the brewing vessel after liquid extraction, using the same mechanism required to remove the filter press assembly, which features a solid surface which extends beneath the filter assembly on a vertical arm which is coaxial with the vertical arm of the filter, and both solid surface and filter arms are manipulatable at the top of the device, using a handle and fastening mechanism, which allows an integrated stirring mechanism located on the solid arm to be rotated, and then the filter to be fully pressed down, while both arms, and the connected lower solid surface and upper filter surface, are removable simultaneously from the vessel after liquid is removed, which cleans the brewing vessel of coffee grounds during the action of filter removal.

  • Patent number: 11175315
Abstract: A device for installing an all fiber optoelectrical transducer on the base of a pin insulator column, such that the device mounts to the insulator pin column in a bushing style of concentric attachment and enables retrofits of said device to existing transmission & distribution bushing insulator equipment. A rigid and solid mechanical support region contains a hollow bushing attachment point at a center location, and radiates outward and bonds solidly and statically to a hollow toroidal conduit, which houses optical wave guides, terminating at auxiliary connection ports, located on the exterior of the hollow toroidal conduit region, while hollow conduit support arms extend from the exterior conduit ring to a power conductor region, and integrate with optical connection ports located on static support stands, where the optical ports interface with a detachable and flexible fiber loop transducer, which surrounds an energized power conductor.

  • Patent number: 11175273
Abstract: A device for the manual installation and removal of conductive sensor electrodes into and from the earth for repeated testing of soil electrical properties, utilizing a screw machine principle to drive electrodes fabricated with an auger or drill structure and with a hardware fitting at the electrode top. A user can stabilize the device with their mass while standing on the ground interface platforms, which are connected to the device with angled rigid support members, and then actuate the electrode driving mechanism with ergonomic grips attached perpendicularly to a dual moment arm lever. The device can also rotate along a single axis to drive electrodes at specific angles.

  • Patent number: 11148174
Abstract: The present invention relates to a manual device for cleaning high voltage electrical insulators, where a swiveling handle controls multiple prongs which feature branching heads which connect to spongiform cleaning attachments and flexible rubber blade attachments, which extend into the regions between the insulator discs to wash and remove contamination, while allowing the device operator to remain electrically insulated from the discs being cleaned.

  • Patent number: 10894184
Abstract: A foot stretching device with simultaneous toe spacing and dorsiflexion capabilities, where the toe-spacing elements are continuously adjustable along flexible guiderails to custom fit individual foot geometry, while the method of applying tension between the ankle and the forefoot via inelastic material to enable dorsiflexion also secures the toe spacing elements to the user's foot through a linkage with the ankle cuff of the device. Exchanging the inelastic material for one which is elastic and stretchable allows plantarflexion exercises to be performed with resistance.

  • Patent number: 9895566
Abstract: A device for performing ankle-based inversion therapy, based on the method established by gravity boots. The device includes a mounting component at its top which enables attachment to support bars, while the primary loop of the device is adjustable in size and conforms to the ankle. A handle and extension are used to enter the inverted posture and to open the primary loop upon exit. Grip loops on the outside of the primary loop are used to manipulate the device with opposite toes during use.

  • Publication number: 20160361582
Abstract: A device used for ankle-based inversion therapy and which does not require hardware is described in this document. It allows the user to be suspended in an inverted posture from their ankles while being supported by an auxiliary mounting bar. The design of this device is presented in this document as an alternative to traditional hook-based gravity boots.
