    Abstract: A biosensor is configured to detect an impaired-driving condition of a driver of a vehicle; a biosensor reader, in the vehicle, is configured to wirelessly receive information from the biosensor regarding whether the driver of the vehicle is in an impaired-driving condition; an ignition system of the vehicle is configured to be disabled in response to the biosensor reader receiving information from the biosensor indicating that the driver of the vehicle is in an impaired driving condition; and a telematics unit is configured to wirelessly notify a remotely located third party that the driver is impaired.
