  • Patent number: 10921883
Abstract: A mobile device includes an eye sensor and an eye track control system. The eye detection sensor detects movements of a human eye generates an eye detection signal indicative of detected eye movements of a user. The eye tracking control system determines a concentrated state of the user and a distracted state of the user based on the detected eye movements. The eye tracking control system is further configured to selectively operate the mobile device in different modes based on the concentrated state and the distracted state. The eye tracking control system operates the mobile device in a first mode that provides a plurality of device capabilities to the user in response to determining the concentrated state, and operates the mobile device in a second mode that applies at least one limitation to the plurality of device capabilities in response to determining the distracted state.

  • Publication number: 20210027215
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for group travel coordination. Aspects include receiving a travel itinerary from a first user and storing the travel itinerary and an identification of a group of individuals that the first user has elected to share the travel itinerary with. Aspects also include monitoring a travel booking activity of the group of individuals. Based on a determination that a member of the group of individuals is booking a trip that is related to the travel itinerary, aspects include providing an itinerary recommendation to the member of the group of individuals.

  • Patent number: 10805801
Abstract: Techniques for automatic mobile device usage restriction are described herein. An aspect includes monitoring user data of a user of a mobile device from a plurality of data sources in the mobile device. Another aspect includes learning normal behavior of the user based on the monitoring. Another aspect includes identifying outlier behavior by the user that deviates from the normal behavior based on the monitoring. Another aspect includes determining a restriction state based on the outlier behavior. Yet another aspect includes restricting access to at least one functionality of the mobile device based on the restriction state.

  • Patent number: 10733280
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products for controlling a mobile device based on fingerprint identification are provided. Aspects includes detecting an input from a user via an input device of the mobile device, the input including a touch by at least two fingers of a plurality of fingers of a user and determining an operation state of the mobile device at a time of the detected input. Aspects also include identifying the at least two fingers used to apply the input by the user based on stored fingerprint data that differentiates between individual fingers of the user and identifying a command based on the operational state and based on the identified at least two fingers, the command identified from a plurality of different commands based on which of the individual fingers is identified. Aspects further include performing an action associated with the identified command.

  • Publication number: 20200233552
Abstract: A method for providing nullification of unintentionally copied data includes detecting a copy operation associated with a data item. A determination is made if the data item associated with the copy operation includes valid data. A previously stored data item is recalled, in response to determining that the data item associated with the copy operation does not include valid data. The data item associated with the copy operation is stored, in response to determining that the data item associated with the copy operation includes valid data. A paste operation is initiated to selectively insert the data item associated with the copy operation or the previously stored data item based on the validity of data into an application.
