Abstract: The present invention pertains to the field of home appliances and refers to a delivery valve stem (1) more specifically intended to be used in laundry machines provided with a reservoir (5) for bulk material storage and delivery, wherein said valve flow delivery is not aligned with its displacement axis, since it comprises a predominantly radial sealing system that contributes to clean surfaces in contact with fluid, thereby promoting reduction in the production of residues from washing products, which may be detached and reach the fabrics stored inside the equipment, damaging them and/or causing several inconveniences.

Abstract: The present suspension arrangement is applied to a clothes washing machine of the type which comprises: a plurality of stay rods, having an upper end coupled in a structural cabinet, and a lower end coupled to a tub, to maintain said tub suspended in the interior of the structural cabinet. Each stay rod, which is formed by rigid stay rod portions or in a single piece flexible cable, presents, along its longitudinal extension, at least one hinge means interconnecting two adjacent stay rod portions and allowing the latter to be angularly and relatively displaced from each other around axes orthogonal to the stay rod.

Abstract: The method of the invention encompasses the stages of: rotating the basket in a weighing rotation determined by a microprocessor, of a top-loading machine, already containing the load of clothes to be washed; producing signals for a load sensing device, assembled on a suspension rod of a containment drum that holds the basket, of the maximum and minimum loads to which such suspension rod is subject during each spin of the basket, processing the above-mentioned signals in order to define the average load applied to the suspension rods and with this information, the weight of the load of clothes; and determine, through the microprocessor and as a function of the weight of the load of clothes, the weight of the load of water fed into the containment drum. The method in question also allows control over the various operating functions of the machine, through monitoring the load applied to the above-mentioned suspension rod.

Abstract: A self-leveling foot for an appliance of the type that includes a base to be seated on a floor; a rod affixed to the base and projecting upwardly therefrom; an elastic element having a lower end seated on the base and a tubular sleeve, slidably mounted and guided around the rod, and having a lower portion seated on the upper end of the elastic element and an upper portion to be mounted under a lower frame portion of the appliance, so as to apply on the base, through the elastic element, a respective portion of the appliance weight. The foot of the present invention may further comprise a dampening means mounted between the parts of rod and tubular sleeve, so as to exert a braking force against the relative axial movement between said parts.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a clothes washing machine of the top loading type having a base structure provided with at least one opening for housing other elements of the washing machine and a tub coupled with the base structure. The base structure and tub are aesthetically matched and when coupled, form an exterior of the washing machine, thereby eliminating the need for a cabinet enclosing the base structure and tub.
