  • Publication number: 20230087593
Abstract: Assembly in a turbine comprising: —at least one turbine ring made of a ceramic composite having a silicon carbide SiC matrix and fibers, the ring comprising a plurality of sectors (10) arranged circumferentially end to end, each of the ring sectors (10) comprises at least one circumferential edge (26, 28) provided with at least one slot (30a, 30b, 30c) opening circumferentially, —at least one sealing member being inserted for a first part into one of the slots (30a, 30b, 30c) of an edge of a first ring sector and for a second part into one of the slots (30a, 30b, 30c) of an edge of a second ring sector, circumferentially adjacent to the first ring sector, the assembly being characterized in that the sealing member is made of a ceramic matrix composite.

  • Patent number: 11118477
Abstract: A turbine ring assembly includes both a plurality of ring sectors made of ceramic matrix composite material forming a turbine ring, and also a ring support structure. Each ring sector includes a portion forming an annular base with an inner face defining the inside space of the turbine ring and an outer face from which an attachment portion of the ring sector extends for attaching it to the ring support structure. The ring support structure includes two annular flanges between which the attachment portion of each ring sector is held. Each annular flange of the ring support structure presents at least one sloping portion bearing against the attachment portions of the ring sectors, the sloping portion, when observed in meridian section, forming a non-zero angle relative to the radial direction and relative to the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 10655501
Abstract: A turbine ring assembly includes ring sectors made of ceramic matrix composite material forming a turbine ring and a ring support structure having first and second annular flanges, each ring sector having first and second tabs held between the flanges. First and second holder elements secured to the first annular flange being received in first and second openings in the first tab, while first and second holder elements secured to the second annular flange are in first and second openings in the second tab. Radial clearance is being present when cold between the openings and the portions of the holder elements present in the openings. The first and second annular flanges include, on their faces facing the first and second tabs, a plurality of thrust portions distributed in circumferential manner over the flanges, the ends of the tabs, when cold, being in radial abutment against two thrust portions.
