  • Publication number: 20210220968
Abstract: An improved clamping device which includes at least one tether insert allowing additional objects or items to be coupled to the clamping device without having to change the physical location of the clamping device itself. The tether insert is selectively coupled to the clamping device and may be quickly detached by pulling the tether insert away from the clamping device. The clamping device also includes a magnet to assist the tether insert in obtaining a proper seat when brought into close proximity to a handle of the clamping device. The tether insert also comprises a bridge which interacts with a tether, either by wrapping or tying the tether to the bridge, or by coupling a clip or other coupling means disposed on the tether to the bridge. The removal of the tether insert does not require the actuation of the clamping device or the object it is being applied to.

  • Patent number: 10682559
Abstract: A device to encourage players to keep their chin down after finishing their swing in sports such as baseball or golf. The device includes a magnet disposed on a chin portion of the device. A separate metal button is removably disposed on the user's back shoulder. While the user is swinging a bat or other piece of sporting equipment, the magnet moves toward and makes contact with the metal button located on the user's shoulder. As the magnet makes contact with the button, an audible “click” sound is emitted which confirms to the user that their head has stayed in the down position during their swing and after hitting the ball. By delaying any lifting of the head to watch the ball after it has been hit encourages the user to keep their head down which thereby improves their ability to see the ball and make contact with it.
