Abstract: The present subject matter provides a system for allowing controlled access of a tool to all sides of an elevated tissue in body of a patient, the system including: a rail configured to surround the elevated tissue; and at least one vehicle configured to move along the rail and carry at least one tool configured to manipulate the elevated tissue. Also provided is a method for cutting an elevated tissue in a body of a patient, the method including: inserting a rail to a vicinity of the elevated tissue; surrounding the elevated tissue with the rail; placing a vehicle on the rail; connecting a cutting device to the vehicle; and moving the vehicle along the rail while cutting the elevated tissue with the cutting device. Additional embodiments of the system and method are disclosed herein.

Abstract: Provided is a method for lifting a first tissue layer with respect to a second tissue layer adjacent thereto, during an endoscopic procedure. The method includes delivering a composition configured to undergo phase transition, to a region between the first tissue layer and the second tissue layer, and controllably inducing phase transition of the composition from a liquid state to a solid state thereof. Further provided is a device and a kit for lifting a first tissue layer with respect to a second tissue layer adjacent thereto, during an endoscopic procedure. The device includes an injection module having an elongate body, a proximal region and a distal region. The distal region may include at least one outlet to a region between the first tissue layer and the second tissue layer, and a phase transition module.

Said hanger member has a first shoulder portion adapted for supporting an umbilical cord of the endoscopic apparatus, an intermediate portion adapted for supporting the operating handle, a carrier portion adapted for supporting the insertion tube and a second shoulder portion adapted for retaining a distal end of the insertion tube in an upright position.

Abstract: A combined component for use with an endoscopic apparatus for inspecting a body channel of gastrointestinal system of a patient is disclosed. The endoscopic apparatus comprises an insertion tube coverable by a covering sleeve deployable on the insertion tube upon advancing the insertion tube into the body channel. The combined component comprises an outer housing portion and an inner bushing portion. The inner bushing portion is receivable within the housing portion such that an annular space is provided therebetween for retaining the covering sleeve thereinto. The outer housing portion is provided with a bite portion, to be grasped between the patient's teeth.
