Patent number: 9752638Abstract: An electromechanical shock absorber (10) for dampening vibrations generated during rotation of the drum of a washing machine is disclosed. The absorber has a tubular body (11) and a piston (12) telescopically movable with respect to said tubular body (11). A first clamp (20) and a second clamp (21) are disposed within the tubular body (11) and are rotatably connected to each other at their first ends (20a, 2a). One or more friction elements (14) is located in between the piston (12) and the two clamps (20, 21) for producing, during operation, frictional dampening when said piston (12) moves telescopically with respect to the body (11). The body has a window (25) which is formed on said tubular body (11) and through which the second ends (20b, 21b) of the first and second clamps (20, 21) protrude outside said tubular body (11).Type: GrantFiled: January 17, 2014Date of Patent: September 5, 2017Assignee: AKSISTEM ELEKTROMEKANIK SANAYI VE TICARET LTD. Patent number: 9618073Abstract: A shock absorber comprising a tubular first portion in the form of a shock absorber casing telescopically receiving a tubular second portion in the form of a piston is disclosed. The first portion has an alignment member which encapsulates a friction element wrapped around said second portion. The alignment member is longitudinally movable in between a first stop bearing and a second stop bearing. The novel friction element has a plurality of tips or protrusions which extend, parallel to the longitudinal direction of the piston, towards the two stop bearings and which hit either of said bearings during the oscillatory back and forth movement of the alignment member during operation.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2016Date of Patent: April 11, 2017Assignee: Aksistem Elektromekanik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti.Inventor: Adil Kanioz

Patent number: 9022185Abstract: An electromechanical friction shock absorber is used in washing machines wherein the washing drum rotates on the horizontal axis and comprises at least one cylindrical shock absorber piston, at least one shock absorber body that surrounds the shock absorber piston, moving telescopically along the same work axis with the piston, and a bearing piston from its end part. At least one brake shoe is seated in the clearances provided on the shock absorber body via sliding surfaces. At least one friction element is located on the inner part of the brake shoe and the outer part of the shock absorber and includes surfaces along the work axis that do not contact the brake shoe. At least one lock ring bears the shock absorber piston on the shock absorber body and prevents the friction element from getting displaced out of the body, with the inventive electromechanical friction shock absorber.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2010Date of Patent: May 5, 2015Inventor: Adil Kanioz
