Abstract: A tree data model comprising a plurality of generated nodes may be programmatically generated. Each particular node may have a sequence number uniquely identifying the node and identifying its sibling position within the generated nodes. Information on the nodes may be provided to a reporting application which presents a report in a user interface. Information may be received on additional entries inserted into the report by a user of the application. An inserted node may be inserted into the tree data model. The inserted node a subgroup number identifying which generated node of the plurality of generated nodes is the closest preceding sibling to the inserted node and a subordinal number identifying a subgroup sibling position of the inserted node within a plurality of inserted nodes having a same inserted node subgroup number.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for generating uniform hierarchical views of technical documents irrespective of a file format for the technical document. Metadata definitions may be received that define a technical document hierarchy for the technical document. Based on the metadata definitions, technical data element may be mapped to the technical document hierarchy. The technical document may be generated, the technical document comprising the technical data elements. Based in part on the technical document and the metadata definitions, the uniform hierarchical view may be generated. The uniform hierarchical view may be populated with at least a subset of the technical data elements from the technical document. Once generated, the uniform hierarchical view may be displayed.

Abstract: Techniques for managing customer change requests include receiving a change request associated with a business project of a business enterprise, the change request including one or more parameters; comparing the one or more parameters with one or more business rules associated with the business enterprise; based on the comparison, determining that at least one of the one or more of the parameters satisfies at least one of the one or more business rules; in response to the determination, generating one or more requests for approval for the change request; receiving one or more approval responses from one or more entities associated with the business enterprise in response to the one or more requests for approval; and in response to receiving the one or more approval responses, updating a property associated with the business project.
