  • Publication number: 20240218457
Abstract: Methods for diagnosing active tuberculosis and progression to active tuberculosis are disclosed. In some embodiments, the method may comprise (a) obtaining a sample of RNA from a subject, e.g., a subject having latent tuberculosis and/or symptoms of active tuberculosis; and (b) measuring the amount of RNA transcripts encoded by PLAAT4, CYB561, GBP5, SMAD7, LAX1, CDKN1C, CA5B, EPHA4 and CD83 in the sample, to produce gene expression data. This data can be used for the diagnosis and to make treatment decisions.

  • Publication number: 20230323485
Abstract: This disclosure provides a gene expression-based method for determining a virally-infected subject's risk of developing severe symptoms. In some embodiments, the method may comprise measuring the amount of RNA transcripts encoded by at least two genes in a sample of RNA obtained from the subject, to obtain gene expression data; and based on the gene expression data, providing a report indicating the subject's risk of developing severe symptoms. Kits and methods of treatment are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11762815
Abstract: A multi-framework blockchain service may be implemented with a common interface to manage different types of blockchain networks. Requests to create a blockchain network may be received via an interface for the control plane that triggers the creation of the blockchain network according to an identified workflow. Various operations to change the blockchain network, including membership changes, node additions, governance changes, analytics changes, and monitoring changes may be allowed or denied by the control plane according to a distributed governance policy in effect for the blockchain network.
    Type: Grant
