  • Publication number: 20190205795
Abstract: A method and a system for allocating a vehicle to a user are provided. An availability of a vehicle is detected in a geographical location for an allocation. Based on the historical travel data or a real-time travel-related intention of a set of users in the geographical area, a user is identified from the set of users. A notification message is transmitted to a user device of the identified user based on the detected availability of the vehicle in the geographical area. A user response message is received from the user device in response to the transmitted notification message. Based on the received user response message associated with the selected user, the vehicle is allocated to the selected user for a ride.

  • Patent number: 10071625
Abstract: An exemplary flow control assembly includes, among other things, shutters each having at least one aperture. The shutters are configured to move back and forth between a first position and a second position to influence a flow through the at least one aperture. A flow control method includes, among other things, moving a shutters back and forth between a first position and a second position. The first position permits more flow through at least one aperture within each of the shutters than the second position.
