  • Publication number: 20220137019
Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to determining a flavor profile for an item. In some embodiments, a computing system for determining a flavor profile of an item comprises a memory device storing computer-executable instructions and a processor configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to obtain a spectral profile associated with the item, identify at least one attribute value for at least one attribute of the item based on the received spectral profile, determine a flavor score for the item based on the at least one attribute value, obtain time series data associated with the item corresponding to a number of days, calculate a predicted flavor score for the item relative to the number of days based on the received time series data, and generate a flavor profile for the item based at least on the predicted flavor score.

  • Patent number: 11003958
Abstract: Embodiments of a system for food quality image classification are disclosed for classifying food items as either damaged or not damaged, and if damaged, the type of damage. Damage classification may be performed in multiple stages, for example, RGB data may be used in a first classification, and HSV data may be used in a second classification, such as whether damage is from bruising or decay. Blurring may improve determination accuracy, and an ongoing feedback and training loop may improve accuracy results over time.

  • Publication number: 20200148232
Abstract: An issue reporting and detection system is discussed. A user can capture an image with a mobile device of an issue at a location in a facility. An application executing on the mobile device can receive an input associated with the image. The mobile application can transmit image and the input associated with the image to a computing system which can determine a location at which the image was taken in the facility. The computing system can transmit a command to a UAGV to navigate to the determined location of the facility where the UAGV can capture an image using an image capturing device coupled to the UAGV, of the reported issue at the location in the facility. The UAGV can transmit the image to the computing system to confirm the type of the facility issue based on the image captured by the UAGV. The computing system can transmit an appropriate alert after confirming the issue.
