Abstract: Various examples are disclosed for an authentication model for user sessions utilizing a digital key incorporating metadata identifying device location and network conditions. Upon user authentication of a session, a digital key can be generated that incorporates information about the location and network conditions of a device, which can be utilized to grant conditional access to resources.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure enable endpoint devices to launch applications from an application inventory data store using a unified endpoint management (UEM) platform. The UEM platform obtains an application specification from the application inventory data store, wherein the application specification includes a group of applications and includes location data associated with the group of applications on the application inventory data store. The UEM platform receives user data from an endpoint device that indicates a user is enrolled with the UEM platform and the UEM platform provides the application specification data to the endpoint device. The UEM platform determines a subset of applications of the group of applications that are assigned to the user using the user data and provides the determined subset of the applications to the endpoint device, whereby the endpoint device is enabled to launch an application of the subset of applications using the application specification data.

Abstract: A method and system for implementing data retention policies on data stored within distributed file systems. Embodiments of the technology enable a content object retention management controller to apply a data retention policy on sets of content objects stored on a distributed file system via a single proxy object.
