Abstract: A surveillance system includes: a plurality of planar microphone arrays configured to generate audio signals; a plurality of close circuit television (CCTV) cameras configured to generate video signals and integrated to the planar microphone arrays; and a delay network including: a signal processor configured to analyze audio signals and video signals; delay modules including: a first delay network incorporated at the input of individual microphone in single microphone planar microphone array; and a second delay network placed before combining the output of the individual microphone planar microphone array, wherein the signal processor by using the CCTV cameras, may be configured to calculate the position coordinates of the target object by defining the area in grids.
