  • Patent number: 11923163
Abstract: A fuse element for a fuse with an integrated measurement function, includes a first receiving area in an embodiment, for receiving a melting conductor of the fuse, delimited in the length direction of the fuse by a closure element and in a direction orthogonal to the length direction by the fuse element. Further, in an embodiment, the fuse element has a second receiving area, physically separated from the first receiving area, for receiving a measuring device of the fuse. The second receiving area is designed to receive the measuring device in a wall section of the fuse element. The second receiving area formed in the fuse element protects the measuring device arranged therein against interfering environmental influences. The measuring device is used to ascertain the electric current flowing through the fuse directly on the fuse.

  • Patent number: 11133144
Abstract: A fuse includes a protective housing and a measurement device. Two electrical connection elements of the fuse are routed out of the protective housing and at least one fuse element is arranged in the protective housing, the at least one fuse element electrically conductively connecting the two electrical connection elements in the protective housing to one another. The measurement device includes a sensor element to record a physical state measured value of the fuse and a transmission apparatus to transmit the measured value to a reception device arranged outside the fuse. The measurement device further includes a dedicated housing in which the sensor element is received and held, the dedicated housing being mechanically connected to the protective housing. An overall installation space required for the protective housing and the dedicated housing corresponds to an installation space of a standardized NH fuse. The fuse is usable for retrofit applications.

  • Patent number: 9691581
Abstract: A fuse arrangement includes a first safety fuse and a second safety fuse connected electrically in parallel with each other. The fuse arrangement also includes an end plate mechanically coupled to the first and second safety fuses to form a structural unit so that both safety fuses must be inserted/removed to/from an electrical power distribution installation at the same time. Furthermore, the electrical parallel connection of the two safety fuses, rather than a single relatively larger safety fuse, may allow the maximum current strength of an electrical power distribution installation to be maintained while the current is split between the two safety fuses so the size of the fuse arrangement may be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20130335188
Abstract: A safety fuse arrangement may include at least a first safety fuse element and a second safety fuse element electrically connected to each other in parallel. The safety fuse arrangement further comprises a ceramic fuse body having at least a first locating space for locating and holding the first safety fuse element and a second locating space for locating and holding the second safety fuse element. The locating spaces are physically separated from each other by the fuse body. In this way, a compact safety fuse arrangement comprising a plurality of safety fuse elements which are electrically connected to each other in parallel can be realized as a structural unit that is inexpensive to manufacture and is suitable for higher rated currents.

  • Patent number: 4281410
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for telecommunications, in particular telephone exchange installations that switch through digitally by time division, having a special coupling network for switching audio-signals to terminal units which, besides the connection network provided for the interchange of speech and data information, sets up the connection between terminal units and audio-signal senders and works digitally.
