  • Patent number: 5811185
Abstract: This invention provides a polyolefinic multilayer film which has a base layer containing polypropylene and at least one outer layer. The outer layer contains at least 50% by weight of a propylene/butylene resin composition. The propylene/butylene resin composition has a low degree of crystallinity and is modified by a surface treatment, e.g. corona treatment. The surface treatment raises the minimum heat-sealing temperature to the range of 85.degree. to 110.degree. C. and unexpectedly reduces the film's tendency to block. The resulting multilayer film is useful in packaging.

  • Patent number: 5564192
Abstract: The invention relates to a guide bar for the saw chain of a motor-driven chain saw. The guide bar has a guide groove which extends about the periphery thereof wherein the saw chain runs. The guide groove is delimited by two side plates which are tightly connected to each other and are held at a spacing relative to each other. The side plates are also approximately coincident with each other. At least one of the side plates has a connecting part which projects in a direction toward the other side plate. This connecting part lies with a contact surface on a corresponding counter surface of the other side plate. The connecting part of a side plate extends through the guide groove up to the other side plate and there contacts with its contact surface the counter surface of the other side plate. The contact surface and the counter surface lie approximately perpendicular against each other. In this way, a simple manufacture of the guide bar and an easy assembly thereof is guaranteed.

  • Patent number: 4088047
Abstract: A method of producing cutting teeth for a chain saw each of which has a tooth roof and a base body cranked relative to the tooth roof along a substantially sharp edge. The method includes using as starting material a flat band which at least on one flat side of the flat band has a ridge-shaped projection extending in the longitudinal direction of the flat band. The method further includes cutting the band transverse to its longitudinal axis into sections so that each section has an overall size just sufficient for the formation of a cutting tooth to be formed, while the ridge-shaped projection divides each section into a shorter end portion and a longer end portion. The shorter end portion is bent to form the tooth roof, and the longer end portion is provided with a crank relative to the tooth roof.

  • Patent number: 3985205
Abstract: An automatic vehicle lubrication system in which a counter counts whenever the ignition of the vehicle is switched on and the hand-brake is released. When the counter indicates a predetermined period of time has elapsed compressed air is allowed to actuate a pressure amplifying pump to pump lubricant to lubrication points. The counter is then reset.
