  • Publication number: 20170332782
Abstract: An apparatus for storing multiple items or clothing comprises a base vertical support mounted to an existing door or location and a variable vertical support that contracts toward and extends away from the base vertical support. Telescoping units attach between the vertical supports and provide for storage of items. A cord extends the length of the respective telescoping units when such units are completely extended, whereby extending the telescoping units separates supports holding stored items. Attachment means attaching the cord to the storage supports holding stored items cause the storage supports attached to the cord to become spaced apart when the telescoping units are extended. The cord folds when the apparatus contracts and the storage supports move closer in relation to one another.

  • Patent number: 5860703
Abstract: The vehicle seat has a seat back that is extended upwards by a headrest. The headrest is supported by at least one rigid stalk that is vertically slidable in a socket secured to the seat back, with a certain amount of clearance for forward pivoting. The stalk is urged angularly rearwards by a spring towards a rest position in which notches formed in the rear face of the stalk co-operate with a stop member secured to the socket. Starting from this rest position, the headrest can be moved angularly forwards by a user into an adjustment position where the stalk is free to slide vertically in the socket.

  • Patent number: 5738412
Abstract: The headrest (1) comprises a translation guidance assembly (10) guided along a spindle (2) attached to the seat back and an articulation assembly (20) that is mounted swivelling on the guidance assembly, around an axis (7).A locking member (30) swivels on the guidance assembly (10) around an axis (8) that is parallel to the axis (7), between a locked and an unlocked position. The locking member comprises a pad (31) shaped to press on the spindle (2) in the locked position, and a head (32) that is shaped to lock on a curved section (23), attached to the articulation assembly. In this locked position, that the locking member takes under the effect of inertia after a collision, the headrest can neither pivot backwards nor slide downwards.Application of the headrest is directed to automotive vehicle seats.
