Abstract: An audio recording device and associated recording system are provided for recording and compiling individual audio tracks from a group performance. Each audio recording device is a wireless earpiece having a generally c-shaped body. At one end of the device is an ear bud speaker, retractably anchored within the earpiece body. At an opposing end of the earpiece body is a power transfer port. When sound recording is activated, a microphone in the earpiece captures audio and transmits same via a data communication signal. The signal is received by a client computing device or by the master editing computer. Multiple users wearing the audio recording device can transfer recordings to the master editing computer at the same time. These tracks can then be edited and compiled into a signal track.
