  • Publication number: 20240142632
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and other techniques for computing a position of a rover using satellite signals from a plurality of satellites. Safe ephemeris data may be received at a base station. The safe ephemeris data may indicate positions of the plurality of satellites. The safe ephemeris data may be wirelessly transmitted from the base station to the rover. Rover carrier-phase measurements may be obtained based on the satellite signals received at the rover. The position of the rover may be computed using at least the rover carrier phase measurements and the safe ephemeris data.

  • Publication number: 20120266539
Abstract: A process for joint entrained-bed gasification of ash-containing solid fuels and liquid fuels which are fed separately of each other to the coal gasification reactor via several burners, said burners having a concentric firing angle of greater than 0 degree such that soot formation is reduced and the conversion efficiency is increased, and the solid is conveyed to the gasification reactor together with an inert gas, and at least part of the ash-containing solid fuel contains fine coal particles which originate from coal mining and are not suited for fixed-bed gasification, and the liquid ash-containing fuel contains residues from a fixed-bed gasification.

  • Patent number: 5441548
Abstract: A process for the partial oxidation of bituminous oil emulsions to produce a raw gas containing CO and H.sub.2, the process including heating the bituminous oil emulsion to destabilize the emulsion and separating the bituminous oil from the emulsion water, concentrating the emulsion water by evaporation, and reacting in a gasification unit the bituminous oil, the concentrated emulsion water and oxygen or air to produce the raw gas containing mainly CO and H.sub.2.

  • Patent number: 4936872
Abstract: The process for cooling raw gas obtained from partial oxidation of carbon-containing material by way of the fluidized-bed method, the fixed-bed method or the entrained-bed method at temperatures above 700.degree. C. and pressures ranging from 1 to 120 bar, the carbon-containing material being coal, peat or any other carbon-containing solid, while the oxidizing agent is oxygen, air, water and/or another oxygen-containing matter, to provide a solution to the problem of avoiding fouling and corrosion downstream heat exchangers. This aim is achieved in that raw gas is cooled direct to temperatures ranging from 100.degree.-500.degree. C. in a downstream fluidized-bed cooler using solid additives such as sand.

  • Patent number: 4752308
Abstract: Referring to a process for the reconditioning of quench water or scrubbing water obtained as effluent from plants for the pressure gasification of solid or liquid fuels it is intended to provide for a method which eliminates the need of cooling and expanding large volumes of quench water for the purpose of solids separation. This is achieved by pressurizing the solids-laden quench water withdrawn from the quench chamber and admitting it to a high-pressure solids separator at a temperature substantially equal to the quench chamber temperature.

  • Patent number: 4440544
Abstract: A method for producing a pumpable suspension in oil of dehydrated, finely-ground lignite is disclosed. The method involves mixing hydrous, ground lignite with an oil and gasoline, grinding the lignite in the mixer so that substantially all the particles are finer than 2 mm, heating and pressurizing this suspension which results to a temperature in the range of 190.degree. to 240.degree. C.
