  • Publication number: 20090298519
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods and software applications for mobile device menu modification. In an exemplary embodiment, a menu modification module may add a menu selection to a mobile device contact application user interface for selecting a recipient to receive a bubble message. In some embodiments, a character or character set is prepended to a recipient's telephone number for purposes of utilizing a telecom service to contact a bubble server. In another embodiment, a bubble server telephone number is used to route a recipient's telephone number to a bubble server. In various embodiments, after the bubble server is contacted, DTMF tones of the recipient's telephone number may be sent to the bubble server.

  • Publication number: 20080235547
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system of a self-test output for high density BIST are disclosed. In one embodiment, an integrated circuit includes one or more memories, a BIST controller coupled to the one or more memories to perform write operation and to receive a PASS/FAIL signal from each embedded memory and one or more comparators coupled to the one or more memories latch mutually identical outputted data coming from the memories upon a rising edge of an ORDY signal. In addition, the comparators may compare the latched mutually identical outputted data and output associated PASS/FAIL signal to the BIST controller. The BIST controller registers the received PASS/FAIL result upon receiving the PASS/FAIL signal from the comparators. The integrated circuit may include output registers coupled to the BIST controller and the comparators output a data log substantially serially upon receiving a SHIFT/CLK signal from the BIST controller.

  • Publication number: 20080182603
Abstract: A system and method for delivering messages and/or multimedia content using a short message services (SMS) telecommunication network. Mobile devices are coupled to the telecommunication network. A sender may distribute the message using a mobile device to a recipient on another telecommunication network. In one embodiment, a message is requested using a unique pairing identifier and the message is streamed to the recipient. The message may include a multimedia content, and may be based on a demographic trait of the recipient.

  • Patent number: 7380654
Abstract: A conveyor track drive includes a continuous loop conveyor for supporting and carrying a specimen container, with one portion of the conveyor extending through a drive housing. The conveyor includes a first segment extending through the housing, which then wraps around a portion of a drive sprocket, extends back upstream and around a portion of an idler sprocket and then includes a second segment transversely adjacent the first segment. A guide plate on the housing is positioned over the adjacent segments of the conveyor with a slot located to guide a specimen carrier from the first segment to the second segment. The specimen carrier then exits the housing on the second segment of the conveyor. A motor in the housing drives the drive sprocket to move the conveyor.

  • Publication number: 20070225857
Abstract: A transfer apparatus includes a shuttle depending from an overhead support with a pair of arms for receiving and shifting a specimen carrier from one conveyor to a second conveyor of a dual-conveyor track. The shuttle is operable to retain a specimen carrier along either the first or second conveyor and to release a specimen carrier along either the first or second conveyor. Sensors are located to detect the presence of a specimen carrier at each of the retention locations, and to confirm the release of a specimen carrier from the shuttle along each of the conveyors. A drive motor for moving the shuttle between the retention and release positions is electrically connected to a command module with a processor, for receiving instructions as to the position of the shuttle. The sensors are also connected to the processor to transmit detection data to the processor. A queue is positioned upstream of the shuttle and is electrically connected to the processor.

  • Patent number: 7233838
Abstract: A transfer and positioning apparatus includes a positioning assembly located between the tracks of a dual lane conveyor and upstream of a lane changer. The positioning assembly includes a retractable shaft for stopping a carrier along a first conveyor adjacent the assembly. A pair of gripper arms are pivotally mounted to move between an open position permitting the carrier to pass along the conveyor track, and a closed position with forward ends in contact with a specimen container on the carrier to position the container in a reference location for direct processing. The lane changer includes a shuttle depending from an overhead support with a pair of arms for receiving and shifting a specimen carrier from one conveyor to a second conveyor of a dual-conveyor track. The shuttle is operable to retain a specimen carrier along either the first or second conveyor and to release a specimen carrier along either the first or second conveyor.

  • Publication number: 20070088684
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to programmatic database access and provide a method, system and computer program product for programmatic partial updating of a row. In one embodiment, a data processing system for programmatic partial updating of a row in a database can include a database proxy driver configured to expose an interface for interacting with the database and to accept an execution of a prepared statement without requiring set values for all fields bound by the prepared statement. The interface can include, for example, a Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) compliant interface. The prepared statement can include a binding to multiple fields in a designated row and a set of setter methods defined for a subset of the multiple fields.

  • Publication number: 20050258018
Abstract: A conveyor track drive includes a housing with a first continuous loop conveyor having a portion extending through the housing within a generally horizontal drive plane. The conveyor includes a first segment extending through the housing in the drive plane, then wraps around a portion of a drive sprocket, extends back upstream and around a portion of an idler sprocket and then includes a second segment transversely adjacent the first segment within the drive plane. A guide plate on the housing is positioned over the drive plane with a slot located to guide a specimen carrier from the first segment to the second segment at the point where the two segments are adjacent one another. A motor in the housing drives the drive sprocket to move the conveyor.
