Patent number: 9699956Abstract: A seeding machine (1) and method of use, for introducing seed material into a soil (11), with a first ploughing device for drawing at least one furrow into the soil and a filling device for closing the first furrow. A dust separator (5) separates air during the seeding process into an air component (13) and a dust component (7). A line from the dust separator delivers the dust component separated from the air component into the soil.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2013Date of Patent: July 11, 2017Assignee: Bayer Intellectual Property GmbHInventors: Adrian Christopher Arnold, Lubos Vrbka, Charles Andrew Chapple

Patent number: 7565853Abstract: A cyclonic separation device for a vacuum cleaner including a cylindrical separation container, an inlet tube parallel to the axis of the chamber having a vortex vane disposed axially in the inlet tube. Air rotates in one direction in the inlet tube, and preferably in the opposite direction in the separation chamber tube. The separation chamber includes a cylindrical sidewall with an upper central outlet tube and a closed bottom for collecting separated dirt. A disrupter ring located on the inside wall of the middle portion of the separation chamber includes a curved surface and sharp edge for lifting air flow off the chamber wall. A outlet tube disc spaced from the inlet of the outlet tube is located in the chamber below the disrupter ring.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2004Date of Patent: July 28, 2009Assignee: Euro-Pro Operating, LLCInventors: Adrian Christopher Arnold, Arthur John Arnold

Patent number: 7419522Abstract: A dirt separation and collection assembly suitable for use in a bagless vacuum cleaner including two dirt separation and collection zones is provided. Dirty air enters the upper portion of a container and enters a first stage dirt separation zone including a disruptor ring extending inwardly from the outer wall to allow coarse dirt particles and fibers to pass through and collect at the base of the outer wall of the device. The spinning air is then drawn through a conical shroud and fed into a second stage conical separator for separating fine dirt particles and collecting them in an inner substantially cylindrical collection chamber. Air exits the conical separator at the opposite cone opening before being drawn to the suction source. Elements may be oriented upwardly or downwardly depending upon the configuration of the housing for receiving the dirt separation and collection assembly.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2005Date of Patent: September 2, 2008Assignee: Euro-Pro Operating, LLCInventor: Adrian Christopher Arnold

Patent number: 7354468Abstract: A cyclonic separation device for a vacuum cleaner including a cylindrical housing, an inlet tube parallel to the axis of the housing having a vortex vane disposed axially in the inlet tube. Air rotates in one direction in the inlet tube, and preferably in the opposite direction in the housing. The housing includes a cylindrical sidewall with an upper central outlet tube and a closed bottom for collecting separated dirt. A disrupter ring located on the inside wall of the middle portion of the housing includes a curved surface and sharp edge for lifting air flow off the housing wall. An outlet tube disc spaced from the inlet of the outlet tube is located in the housing below the disrupter ring.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2004Date of Patent: April 8, 2008Assignee: Euro-Pro Operating, LLCInventors: Adrian Christopher Arnold, Arthur John Arnold

Patent number: 7065826Abstract: A dirt separation and collection container suitable for use in a bagless vacuum cleaner including two dirt separation and collection zones is provided. Dirty air enters the mid-section of the device and enters a first stage dirt separation zone including a cylindrical baffle spaced inwardly from the outer wall of the device with an inclined slot to allow coarse dirt particles and fibers to pass through and collect at the base of the outer wall of the device. The spinning air is then fed into a second stage conical separator for separating fine dirt particles and collecting them in an inner substantially cylindrical collection chamber. Air exits the conical separator and device opposite the cone opening before being drawn to the suction source. Elements may be oriented upwardly or downwardly depending upon the configuration of the housing for receiving the dirt separation and collection device.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 2003Date of Patent: June 27, 2006Assignees: Euro Pro Operating, LLCInventor: Adrian Christopher Arnold
