  • Patent number: 12049743
Abstract: The invention relates to a slurry wall cutter for producing vertical ground trenches, which can be connected to a carrier apparatus, comprising a frame, a motor unit and a drive unit which is releasably connectable with the frame, wherein the drive unit comprises a carrier structure, at least one gear mechanism arranged on the carrier structure as well as a cutting tool for crushing ground material, which connected to the gear mechanism and drivable by the motor unit, wherein the motor unit is releasably connectable to the drive unit and wherein the frame and the drive unit respectively comprise guide means which are configured in such a way that the drive unit can be pushed laterally into and out of the frame.

  • Publication number: 20240175228
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a trench cutter having at least one bearing shield, at least one cutting wheel rotatably mounted on the bearing shield for breaking up soil material, and a suction box arranged radially adjacent to the cutting wheel for sucking liquid containing soil material. At least one adjustable cutting tool is arranged on the cutting wheel where as the cutting wheel rotates, it moves between a folded-in position, which is an axial distance from the bearing shield and can be moved past it, and a folded-out position, which it projects into an area radially adjacent to the bearing shield. The suction box has a recess where in the folded-out position or in the transition between the folded-in position and the folded-out position, the cutting tool moves through the recess. The disclosure also relates to a carrier machine, in particular a cable excavator, having a trench cutter.

  • Publication number: 20240175237
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a trench cutter with at least one milling wheel that is rotatably mounted on a bearing plate and has at least one adjustable cutting tool for crushing soil material, wherein the adjustable cutting tool comprises a base body that is movably mounted on the milling wheel and interacts with the bearing plate in such a way that the adjustable cutting tool moves automatically between a folded-in position and a folded-out position as a function of the angle of rotation when the milling wheel is rotated. The adjustable cutting tool can be moved from the folded-out position into the folded-in position via a first guide element that contacts the bearing plate. According to the disclosure, the first guide element is formed integrally with the base body and projects from the base body in the direction of the bearing plate on a side facing the bearing plate.
