    Abstract: The present invention relates to a wound contact surface for a wound dressing. The wound contact surface can be incorporated into a wound dressing, such as a foam dressing, to provide a non-adherent layer between the dressing and the skin/wound. In aspects, the invention also relates to methods of preparation of the contact surface and dressings comprising same. The wound care surface and dressings comprising same have particular utility in the treatment of burns and blistering conditions such as epidermolysis bullosa.

    Abstract: An oxygen sensitive polymeric material with enhanced photostability, comprising an oxygen sensitive indicator and photostabilizer incorporated into an oxygen permeable polymeric material is provided.     Abstract: A system for determining gas content in an enclosed atmosphere (6) is provided. The system for determining gas content includes a window unit (2, 4) having an enclosed atmosphere and an oxygen sensing material (8) disposed in the enclosed atmosphere. The oxygen sensing material detects a level of oxygen in the enclosed atmosphere. A non-invasive sensor (10) reads the oxygen sensitive material to determine the level of gases within the enclosed atmosphere.
