  • Patent number: 11919626
Abstract: A controller for a hydraulic braking system for an aircraft is disclosed. The hydraulic braking system includes a first accumulator and a second accumulator, the controller configured to: receive first signals including first pressure data from a first pressure transducer associated with the first accumulator, receive second signals including second pressure data from a second pressure transducer associated with the second accumulator, monitor the received first and second signals to determine whether a predetermined condition has been met, and issue a warning indicating a loss of integrity of the hydraulic braking system in response to a determination that one or more predetermined conditions has been met. A hydraulic braking system for an aircraft and method to determine the integrity of a hydraulic braking system are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10947129
Abstract: There is described an on-line device for controlling a fluid treatment process configured to inactivate a microorganism in a flow of fluid using ultraviolet radiation and a chemical disinfectant. The device includes: a memory for receiving a calculated database of dose response for the ultraviolet radiation and for the chemical disinfectant for a fluid treatment parameter; means to obtain input data about the fluid treatment parameter from the process; means to compare the input data with calculated database; and means to adjust one or more of the amount ultraviolet radiation and the chemical disinfectant added to the flow fluid in response to a difference between the input data and calculated database. There is also described a process for controlling a fluid treatment process configured to inactivate a microorganism in a flow of fluid using ultraviolet radiation and a chemical disinfectant.

  • Publication number: 20070184184
Abstract: A method for the production of a capsule shell comprises preparing the capsule shell by electrostatic powder deposition. A plurality of capsule shells may be produced by a process comprising electrostatically applying a powder coating material to a plurality of shaped substrates, treating the powder to form a continuous coating layer on each of the shaped substrates, and removing the shaped coating layers from the substrate to provide hollow capsule shells. An apparatus for the production of a capsule shell includes a substrate, a source of charged powder material and a voltage source for applying a bias voltage between the source of powder material and the substrate to generate an electric field therebetween such that powder material is applied to the substrate.
