  • Patent number: 12011531
Abstract: The present invention relates to a motor-driven suction pump and a method for connecting such a pump. The suction pump has a pump unit for generating a negative pressure which is accommodated in a housing. Further, a terminal box is provided which can be connected to a power source via a connecting cable and has contact elements for supplying the pump unit with a power current. The contact elements are electrically conductively connected to the contact counter elements provided on the housing side and leading to the pump unit when the terminal box is coupled to the housing. In order to increase electrical safety, a sensor, an evaluation unit, and a switch are provided. The sensor is configured to check the coupling of the terminal box. The switch switches a power supply to at least one of the contact elements.

  • Patent number: 11147909
Abstract: A diaphragm vacuum pump has a pump chamber, a vacuum diaphragm for generating an underpressure in the pump chamber, an electric motor (1) with a motor shaft, a gear and a connecting element. The gear converts a rotational movement of the motor shaft into a cyclical, approximately linear forward and rearward movement of the connecting element, as a result of which the connecting element effects a cyclical movement of the vacuum diaphragm. The rearward movement of the connecting element per cycle is effected by a first rotation angle of the motor shaft which, on account of the gear, is not of the same magnitude as a second rotation angle of the motor shaft, wherein the second rotation angle effects the forward movement of the connecting element per cycle. The diaphragm vacuum pump according to the invention can be designed such that it is small and quiet and yet provides optimal power.

  • Patent number: 7223985
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining luminescent molecules by means of optical excitation in confocal measurement volumes, different species of luminescent molecules in a sample being excited at respectively different times and the emission radiation originating from the different species from a measurement volume being captured by a single detector. Furthermore, an apparatus suitable for carrying out the method is disclosed.
