  • Patent number: 12601610
Abstract: Aspects concern a method for generating map data, the method including: generating of a plurality of cells of a real space area, each cell representing a two-dimensional sub-space of the real space area, wherein each of the cells comprise at least one global positioning system (GPS) point, and wherein the real space area comprises a road network; determining a number of GPS points for each cell of the plurality of cells; determining a road network based on the numbers of GPS points using a Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) analysis, wherein the cells of the plurality of cells are particles of the SPH analysis and the number of GPS points per cell of the plurality of cells are a scalar of each cell of the plurality of cells in the SPH analysis; and comparing the road network determined using the SPH analysis with the road network of the real space area.

  • Publication number: 20250277675
Abstract: Aspects concern a method including determining initial map positions of a road object on a map, the initial map positions respectively corresponding to images of the road object that are captured by a camera at different camera positions on the map, and constructing a pose graph in which one or more pairs of the initial map positions are respectively connected by first edges, one or more pairs of the different camera positions are respectively connected by second edges, and the initial map positions are respectively connected to the different camera positions by third edges. The method further includes optimizing the constructed pose graph by adjusting the initial map positions, the different camera positions, the second edges and the third edges so that lengths of the first edges are minimized, and determining a final map position of the road object, based on the optimized pose graph.

  • Publication number: 20250252212
Abstract: According to various embodiments, there is a device comprising: an image capturing module configured to obtain a first image capturing an external environment; a memory configured to store data; a communication interface arranged in data communication with a remote data storage; and a processor communicatively couplable with the image capturing module, the memory, and the communication interface, and configured to: detect one or more regions of the first image, wherein the one or more regions include one or more objects of a predetermined type, and generate a second image corresponding to the first image, by blurring one or more regions of the second image each corresponding to the one or more regions of the first image, wherein the processor is further configured to store the first image in the memory for a predetermined time, and transmit the second image to the remote data storage via the communication interface.
