Abstract: An image processing method for determining a process disturbance includes (i), capturing a plurality of images during an operating process or manufacturing process, (ii), classifying the images as those captured before, during and/or after a process event triggering the disturbance, (iii), calculating a background for each image capture during the process event by comparing same with other image captures before or after the process event, and, (iv), calculating an entirety of the disturbances from the image captures during the process event, from which image captures the calculated background has been removed.
