Abstract: The disclosure provides methods, systems and devices for guiding breathing of a wearer through a breathing pattern. The system includes a wearable device with a non-rotating body and a rotating body, the rotating body configured to rotate about the non-rotating body, a position sensor coupled to the wearable device, a physiological sensor in communication with the wearer configured to detect at least one physiological parameter of the wearer, an actuator, a guiding element in communication with the actuator and configured to provide one or more guiding signals to the wearer, and a controller in communication with the actuator, the physiological sensor and the position sensor. The controller includes an input unit, a processing unit and an output unit for transmitting an output signal to the actuator to actuate the guiding element to provide one or more guiding signals to the wearer to guide the wearer through the breathing pattern.

Abstract: An article is provided which includes a flexible body configured to cover part of a user's body, at least one humidity sensor coupled to the flexible body and configured to measure a humidity of the user's skin or an internal microclimate; at least one temperature sensor coupled to the flexible body and configured to measure a temperature of the user's skin or an internal microclimate; at least one microclimate control element coupled to the flexible body; a controller functionally coupled to the at least one humidity sensor and the at least one temperature sensor to receive measured humidity and temperature signals as an input and functionally coupled to the at least one microclimate control element, the controller being preprogrammed to maintain the internal microclimate under a discomfort threshold value; a user interface functionally coupled to the controller; a power supply; and a switch.

Abstract: Examples of an exercise mat and methods for making same are disclosed. The exercise mat comprises a top layer, at least two textured gripping zones formed on an upper surface of the top layer and a bottom layer joined to the top layer. A second textured gripping zone of the at least two textured gripping zones may be formed closer to one or more mat edges of the exercise mat, and has a friction level that is greater than a friction level of a first textured gripping zone of the at least two textured gripping zones, when a body is in sliding contact with the at least two textured gripping zones of the upper surface of the top layer.
